Sevda Semer was born in Sofia in 1990 and graduated the National High School of Ancient Languages and Cultures. She works as an artist, writer and journalist and has participated in exhibitions and projects in Bulgaria, Canada, Spain and England. After a two year stay in London, she now lives back in Sofia. In 2019 she received a nomination for BAZA Award for contemporary art.
